Adelaide Fringe Awards winners announced - The Best Cabaret Award goes to Where Was I?

This year’s Adelaide Fringe Awards winners were announced at the ceremony last night. The ceremony was held at HQ to celebrate yet another successful season of Adelaide Fringe Festival, which celebrated its 50th anniversary. The Fringe Festival surpassed box-office targets by more than 50,000 tickets.
The Best Cabaret Award went to WHERE WAS I? - by Tom Dickins and Jennifer Kingwell. Dickins has also won a Short+Sweet Cabaret Award in 2008 and the show was the winner of Butterfly Club’s prestigious annual “Under Our Wing” award, one of Australia’s top awards given to emerging cabaret performers, in 2009.
WHEN THE SEX IS GONE by Tommy Bradson received the BankSA Support Act Award.
