Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2010: Stephen Schwartz and Friends

The University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music in partnership with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), by special arrangement with Adelaide Cabaret Festival presents Stephen Schwartz and Friends.

Broadway comes to Adelaide.

Stephen Schwartz is - quite simply - one of the most prolific and successful musical theatre writers of all time. Having had three shows run on Broadway before the age of 26, his talents truly know no bounds.

Best known for musicals such as Godspell, Pippin, Children of Eden and Wicked, Stephen has also ventured onto the silver screen, writing scores for such animated classics as Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Prince of Egypt. As a result, he has won almost every major award going, including three Oscars, three Grammys, four Drama Desk Awards, one Golden Globe and a “tiny handful of tennis trophies”, as he playfully adds.

Join Stephen for an evening that spans a career teeming with hits, presented by some of the finest voices in Australia and beyond.

Exclusive journey through the career of a legend.
