She’s a bit naughty, a bit nasty but good, good, good company.
A cabaret celebrating new experiences and adventures, love, lust and longing with the music of Weill, Brel and Sondheim sprinkles of Shakespeare, stand-up comedy, puppetry, Jazz, Latin, Chanson and songs from Alison Moyet, Kirsty MacColl and Edith Piaf. Music from Aletia Upstairs’ album, Possibility and songs from her new upcoming album.
A recent graduate from the prestigious Cabaret Conference at Yale, the South African born singer-songwriter has entertained audiences in South Africa, Italy, Germany, Korea, Japan and the USA.
Accompanied by Wendy Long, band leader of salsa jazz band, La Mezcla, on piano.
Directed by Jaclyn McLoughlin, director of the critically acclaimed The Common Good.
